Supplemental Online Driver's Ed training

Teen showing off car.Our New Hampshire online driver's ed course is used as supplemental education. While online instruction is not licensed in New Hampshire, our program provides great supplemental training for your knowledge test and may qualify for a car insurance discount. While you learn the rules of the road earn high school credits through our learning partner, Orion High School. You will take a virtual road trip across the U.S., see many great sites, and learn about driving from the experts at Practice test are included and you will be well prepared to pass your New Hampshire "knowledge test" and be on the road to being a safe driver.

If you're at least 15.5 years old and pursuing the freedom to drive, the ultimate result of having a driver's license, you will need to know how. In New Hampshire the process of obtaining a driver's license can be quite confusing. Our goal is to take some of the mystery out of the process and get you started with a great online driver's ed course. Check out each of the tabs for more details on the following steps.

Easy As 1-2-3

  1. Take your Online Driver's Ed course from to learn the fundamentals of safe driving and good driving skills.
  2. Get your New Hampshire youth operators license from the DMV, which requires passing the knowledge test at the local DMV.
  3. Get your driver's license from the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV), which requires passing the road test at any New Hampshire DMV office.

Important for New Hampshire students

Getting a youth operators license allows you to practice driving on the road under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or adult who is at least 25 years old. The process of obtaining a youth operators license requires you to successfully pass a knowledge test at your local DMV office.

Steps to Getting a Driver's Permit

With your youth operators license in hand, it is now time to get in-car training and the necessary experience for taking the road test at the  DMV. The most important detail is to get practice, practice, and more practice behind the wheel. It has been demonstrated novice drivers with more supervised practice will become safer drivers, so don't skimp on the practice!
