Ohio Teen Drivers Ed License

Steps to Getting a Driver’s License in Ohio

  1. Complete driver training – You need to complete 8 hours of behind-the-wheel lessons with a certified instructor at an in-car driving school.
  2. Get enough practice time – Practice driving for 50 hours under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or adult driver (over the age of 21). Be sure to document your time spent practicing this way.
  3. Take the test – Now, you’ve been educated with igottadrive.com's Ohio drivers ed online, you’ve had your driving school lessons, and you’ve clocked a lot of time on the road. You should be ready to take and pass this test. Sign up at your local DPS office, and start looking forward to your brand new Ohio driver’s license.
